Freedom Health, manufacturers of SUCCEED® Digestive Conditioning Program®, has partnered with the National Snaffle Bit Association (NSBA) to sponsor the all new Heroes on Horses competition. This special event will be held August 20, 2011, with two classes, to honor service men and women, and the horses that are helping them to heal. The event is being held in conjunction with the sixth annual NSBA World Championship Show, August 17-21, 2011, in Tulsa, OK.
Riders in the Heroes on Horses event must be disabled veterans or active duty “wounded warriors” who are participating in NARHA Horses for Heroes programs. The two classes offered in 2011 include a Western Walk-Trot-Supported Rider, and Western Walk-Trot-Independent Rider. There is no fee for participating in these classes. “Heroes on Horses is a very special new event that we created this year to honor our service men and women,” said Ann Webb of the National Snaffle Bit Association. “And we are very pleased that Freedom Health has agreed to sponsor the event. We are looking forward to a great competition this year that, hopefully, will continue for years to come.”
SUCCEED is also a Gold Sponsor of the 2011 NSBA World Championship Show. Courtney Ryan, SUCCEED representative and daughter of Hunter Under Saddle Champion Nancy Sue Ryan, will be in attendance on behalf of SUCCEED.
“We are extremely proud and excited to be a part of this special program,” said John Hall, president of Freedom Health. “Any opportunity to support our veterans and active service personnel is a privilege. To combine this with our ultimate mission of helping horses is a true win-win. We thank the NSBA for creating this special event and allowing us to be a part of it.”
