Ron Ralls's Success Story

Reined cow horse trainer Ron Ralls was just eight years old when his family moved to a 50,000-acre cow/calf ranch in Caliente, California. Ron spent the next 20 years on a horse helping to run the operation, learning how to maneuver cattle in steep, brushy terrain and getting a better understanding of what it took to run a ranch. He also rode many, many different horses during that time period — including a couple of three-year-olds owned by legendary horse trainer Monty Roberts, who was an acquaintance of Ron’s brother.

Impressed by the work Ron had put in on his colts, Monty offered to help the young cowboy become a horse trainer if he moved to Solvang, California. Ron jumped at the chance, and at 28, became a reined cow horse trainer.

Ron Ralls’ Career Highlights in the Reined Cow Horse Arena

While Ron admits his debut at the 1984 Snaffle Bit Futurity was “worse than a disaster,” he’s more than made up for it in the past three decades. A back-to-back winner of the World’s Greatest Horseman award in 2003 and 2004, he won the $100,000 World’s Richest Stockhorse Championship just two years later. In 2010, he took home the AQHA Junior Working Cow horse Reserve World Champion, the National Reined Cow Horse Association World Champion Hackamore and NRCHA Stallion Stakes Championship trophies. Last year, he was inducted into the NRCHA Hall of Fame, and is close to achieving $1 million in career earnings.

Ron Ralls’ Results with SUCCEED Digestive Conditioning Program

Based in Gainsville, Texas, since 2001, Ron has more than made up for his initial rocky start. While his horsemanship is unquestioned, Ron also notes that a healthy horse is a key ingredient in his training program — and that feeding SUCCEED is an integral part of his winning formula.

I was first introduced to SUCCEED by a local retail distributor in our area who explained the product to my wife and me, Ron says. I decided to try SUCCEED because I had a horse that was nervous acting when hauled and on the road. I felt he was having digestive tract discomfort and we needed to get it under control.

That was in 2010. After his horse had been on SUCCEED for a few weeks, Ron says, “Not only did my horse improve in his everyday performance, but he also gained weight. The most dramatic improvement was that he not only was performing better but was utilizing his food.”

Since then, Ron has continued using SUCCEED for the horses in his barn.

Why Ralls Recommends SUCCEED

“We currently have eight horses on the product and we can’t say enough about how happy we are with the results,” he says. “The convenient syringe make it so easy and our horses actually look forward to it every day.”

And, as he says, “I would recommend this product to anyone who is a horse enthusiast. Our horses not only look better but they perform better too!”
